Ophiuchus is an independent handmade jewellery brand by self-taught Designer Anna Zhijun Xu. Somewhere in the middle between hard & soft, Ophiuchus is sharp-edged armour & gentle tenderness, a meditative practice inspired by ancient stories, myths, symbology & arts. Fluid motion is captured in stasis by cold metal, frozen in mid-movement, protective amulets for modern times. Ophiuchus explores the fine intersection between self-expression and sustainability, adopting a multidisciplinary approach to create ethereal wearables & organic sculptures, staying true to a vision for authenticity through self-expression, inclusivity & constant rebirth.
